What is U19 Soccer?
The Club’s older age group programs place an increasing amount of time on team tactics. While devolping individual skills is still part of the program, more and more time is devoted to the team aspects of the sport. At the Under 14 and up levels, boys and girls play on separate teams and practice twice per week. Beginning with the Under 14 (or U14) age group, the kids play in an 11v11 format. Recreational teams are formed for both girls and boys division for age groups U16, and U19. The teams play in the RIAS (Recreational Interscheduling) and play teams from surrounding communities. Each child plays at least half of every game. It is the Club’s hope and objective to make the experience fun and rewarding for all the kids participating.

How can I help with U19 Soccer?
Adult volunteers are always needed for the U14 and older age groups! If you are interested in being a head coach or an assistant coach, please so indicate on your registration form or contact the U12 and Up Lead Age Group Coordinator. After the teams are formed and coaches assigned, each team will need a Team Parent to assist the team coaches with administrative duties, including the preparation of a snack schedule, indicating whose turn it is to bring team snacks and planning the team’s end of the season trophy party. If you are willing to serve as a Team Parent, please so indicate on the registration form or let your coach know of your willingness to help out.
